Speculation is always dismissed because you really don't know, so you really can't prove anything that way. All it ends up being is noise.

So then you're the type who is satisfied with status quo? You don't believe bigger things could be found with a different approach?

Way too trusting. Entrepranuership (lol, I butchered that) is all about improvement.

And this isn't an argument. But a freindly debate.

I think?

lol I'm not talking about inventing things. Speculation is key to inventions and entrepreneurship*.

But when your trying to say that the contributions NASA has made would have been made eventually anyway is speculation, and it's not a valid point. It's fine for you to think that, but speculation is useless.... after all, Alien's might land tomorrow and give us all the technology that we are currently spending billion's of dollar's on for R&D...........

And I'd call it an amicable scuffle. lol.

Computer-enhanced enlargement of last 16-mm DAC frame of "Earthrise," seen from Apollo 10. Telephoto view shows 2-degree-wide Earth, between two "layers" of the "Mare Smythe dome." Jagged, micro meteorite-eroded top layer (~3 miles above lunar surface in this close-up) is characteristic of "fractal architecture" -- eroded back along structural supports.

Which brings us to the unique hyperdimensional possibilities

Astrophysical discovery of "glowing planets" -- planetary bodies which shine in the infrared via internal energy sources, not just by reflected light -- stems from completely unexpected ground-based telescopic observations of this solar system, beginning in the mid- 1960's: the startling detection of "anomalous internal infrared radiation" coming from the planet Jupiter. Later Pioneer and Voyager insitu spacecraft observations across the 70s and 80s added the other "giant planets," Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, to the list of solar system worlds that -- somehow, without internal nuclear fusion processes, like stars -- still manage to radiate more energy out into space than they receive directly from the Sun.

“Upon examining our tapes of the New Years' celebrations, Enterprise principal investigator Richard C. Hoagland discovered something odd. Just milliseconds before the lighting of the Sign -- during that brief interval between the Ball touching down, blinking out, and the actual lighting of the "2000" numerals -- a series of strange, geometric shapes appeared in the space normally occupied by the Sign.”

“was also completely invisible to the literally millions of naked eyes that stared upward from Times Square”

“ Still, it is possible that this secret display was meant for a terrestrial audience. “
