I kinda figured that, it just sounded like a QVC commercial at the same time!!! parts of it seemed a little familiar, but wasn't sure...so I figured I'd make the QVC comment first, since I found it funny, then ask what song!

Comfort Eagle.

Artist: Cake.

I like them (along with a lot of 90s music actually) - they do some really funny songs and they do some really introspective ones.

They also do covers of some older songs - though always with their own little spin on it.

For example...

LOL, NICE!!!! yea, I like 90 music also! ALL OF IT! But I tend to like the progression of everything too, except for rap...90s rap was WAY better than much of the new stuff...thats the one genre that has progressed well, IMO...

Well, you all know how I hate to fly. As of wed. the hubby has
us booked for 2 weeks. I really don't know what happened except
that I must have said "book it." This was after he said it was on special
on that wed.
So now I've got to go on a plane at the end of Feb.

Anyway - cake is a love it or hate it band. They do have some obvious flaws (John McCrea is a great songwriter, but only a decent vocalist) but they make up for it in other ways (their instrumentals are far above average).
