I have little kids (8 and 7) and they fit nicely in the back of our Camaro.

I got a chance to drive a SHO. Great car, great handling, impressive performance but I was happy to get my Mustang back. The wife has a practical car, that is plenty for us. She has talked about getting a new Camaro to replace her Buick in the spring. Maybe then I will have to be the practical one. Hasn't happened in 45 years, but you never know.

I personally love the new Tarus, its the best thing out of Ford Ive seen in a while. great exterior styling, interior is even better, performance is top notch (SHO). Downside is the SHO's price, thats the only one Id buy.

If you do not think megan fox is hot, then you need to walk off a cliff

The sho is nice but I do not see why you would want to go from a sports/muscle car to a sedan

That IMO looks just as good, gets up and go, has AWD and is better built with better qualilty ... those are the main reasons ..

Throw my 2 cents in here I guess. I looked at the Taurus for quite a while and would only consider the SHO. I have four kids ranging from 11 weeks old to 7 years old. I have been driving a 4 door sedan, the "responsible" father's car for 11 years now. My father-in-law was totally into the Taurus SHO and even the new Buick Lacrosse, right there sealed the deal for me that I wanted the Camaro. The 0.0001% of the time I have to cart part of the family around in the SS will be no problem, we already have the family mini-van and I'll be holding onto the 4 door-sedan as the beater, bad weather, drive into the city vehicle.

Not sure what your real motivation is here, if the Camaro is severely limiting what you can do transportation wise I can understand it. You mentioned quality, "better built with better quality", not sure what you are basing that on. The SHO is running a first year engine, I don't care how many miles they ran it in the lab, it may turn out to be a beast in reliability but for me right now the LS3 is an already proven beast and get as good and in some cases better gas mileage than that Direct Injected twin turbo V6.

I agree that Ford definitely has a winner on their hand but the price point on a well optioned out SHO is really pushing it, the one I was looking at was well into the 40's.

Good luck with your decision, I wouldn't hold it against you if you traded it in and got the SHO. It is your hard earned money so you can do whatever you please with it, at least what is left after taxes :-)

Crowley, if you really live in Texas, I seriously doubt you need the AWD. If you are looking for a car like the SHO, I also suggest you look at the Hyundai Genesis. It comes with two very powerful engines, don't buy into the whole Super-High-Output, the car is still a pig, and the breaks are terrible, as noted by many magazines. I'm not saying don't like the car, but don't look at it as a sports sedan. Look into the Genesis, it's just as good or better in every category, and it's easier on the wallet.

Well Crowly if you do it and like wasting money, hence the money you have already put into the camaro. I will take those parts off of you because you won't need them anymore, cause they aren't fitting onto the Sho.

And as a poke in the rib, go see the eye doctor if you think a Taurus looks as good as the camaro.
