I really don't know how many you have. Untying the mess of college football champions over the last 100 years is a knotty problem given the sheer number of groups selecting a champion.

Champion implies one team. Top dog. Nobody better. Some years have as many as 4 "champions." Sorry, if 4 different teams claim to be champ, 3 of 'em are wrong. Really if you're system of selecting a champ is that screwed up, all 4 are wrong, there really is no champ.
