Nike has some cool stuff out.

Since 2005 we are the only Team who wear the Nike Contact lenses. You can look directly into the sun and it wont block your vision away from the ball. Everyone is free to wear them but no one does. Every Wr but shipley wears them Ship says he doesnt like to see everything Orange lol

Nike has tried to get us to change our jerseys as in looks but Darrell royal , Mack Brown and the Fans dont want to change.

if we play in a NC game " WE WILL BE IN WHITE " every big game like michigan , ohiost , usc and etc White.

our last game of the season against aTm we will have our 1969 championship jerseys and helmets on. Jerseys are the same helmets have a football with #100 in them and the orange steer

I think OU should do what Texas did to keep Muschamp, lure Mike Stoops back with the "Head Coach in Waiting" rank. Hold on, I am a Longhorn....what am I saying......scratch that!!!

why would they want Mike as a head coach when they have bob already as one ? Bob is a recruiter.

Bob's going No where

OU is just having a BAD Year its normal for a Team having to replace a lot of Talent. Recruiting in the Big12 was easy when all you had to do was beat the Team across the river from you and you got your pick of who was out there..... Now other coaches have come along and attracted attention and not all of those picks are there. So Teams are having to make it with what they have and "rebuild" Plus OU had a little injury bug problem this year when it rains it pours. If Bob is Canned the AD is throwing everything Bob has helped make that program in the Trash.

Bob isnt going any where

Wow, we have found the one person in the world who can distinguish intellectual honesty among football fans. Shouldn't you have a website or something so that everyone can log in and ask you if they are being honest?

Actually any random yahoo can sit back and pick apart any claim that any legitimate entity makes. It only makes the yahoo look petty and sad.

Glad you made your thinking clear. Even NCAA recognized entities are "random ass". Again, you are the arbiter of of what is true and accurate.

You really think a lot of yourself, and you are probably a great guy, but really do you think you could tear down Bama in any way?

Again I think you are confused. Nowhere did you see any defending of claims, only an attempt to educate you to the reality and get you back onto something that was relevant to keep you from looking like a joke. Failed attempt noted.

Wow, you really deny not being stuck on them? You jumped on a single statement about NC's that another poster made and went into your "in depth" analysis of organizations that you recognize and specific teams from 60 years ago that you don't think should qualify. You sir have a deeper issue than you are admitting.

Random groups giving out awards does not a champion make.
Careful, you are letting that deep seeded issue show again. Now you are stating that Bama has 6 "legitimate" NC's? Again you are the arbiter so we can take your word on it I guess.

Somehow I think I might be waiting a while for a coherent response on that...
Not sure if you will recognize coherent or not but I will give it a try. The AP has run continuously since 1936 and the UPI was formed in 1958. So to be recognized by both of them would only have been possible since 1958. Prior to that there were a multitude of "recognized" polls and foundations which put out a National Champion.

I will try once more to get this back on topic. Let it go, if you can, and lets get back to this season. Not discussing whether or not you like some claims from last century or not. How is that for intellectual honesty?

My point being that ever since Mike Stoops left, OU's defense has been heading south. I agree Bob is a much better "front man"! Most all Alumni and fans have short memories, and yes going to four NC is a great task. To bad more people remember the "chokes" over the wins.

Since Mike Stoops left the deffense has not been the same at OU.
Bob will continue to recruit and will always be near the top of the big12 in recruiting as long as he is at OU.

If OU were to get rid of Bob stoops it would be one of the biggest mistakes they will have ever made. Thats coming from a Longhorn.

OU is not having a bad season because of Bob stoops. Its becoming harder than it used to be to get recruits and reload now every so many years you have 1 down year then you climb back up again.

next year will be our down year then we will climb again.
OUs D is pretty damn good THIS year. Offense is terrible. I know it's a 'learning' year for young kids. Maybe they'll put it all together next year. Defense only giving up 11 points per game this year. Not too bad. Scoring still over 30 per game but 3 this past week was emmbarrasing, rebuilding or not. They haven't lost by more than a score so it could be good next year.
