Insignia is a nice car. I was impressed...Spent some time in Germany when my husband was assigned to a program that took him there.

I just hope they keep a manual (for selfish reasons!)

I am frustrated with the packaging of the '10 CTS packages to keep the car manual...I understand the low volume, but I am running out of daily driver options fast! This would fit that need (in a manual)-just won't be ready by december when I need to trade in my current daily driver.

I personally like a TC 4-cylinder I know it's no V8 (we have a few of those too, but they're fun to drive).

Solstice and Saab are great and I get about 30-34 mpgs in the Saab mixed driving!
I am very happy...looking forward to seeing one of these in my garage whenever I scrounge up enough cash.

Is the Saab your daily driver?

I apologize to MCPOAJ in the Cobalt thread, but his award has been revoked.

Congratulations sir, you have made the absolute most incoherent post on this website. Nowhere in your nonsensical, rambling response did you come close to anything resembling a rational thought.

In the words of Billy Madison, I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yes, until the end of December. It has been a very good car, but replacing it with a Saab is a little bit of a gamble for us because we would be buying vs. leasing and am required to buy a new car every 3-4 years as part of the PEP program-not sure what the sale of Saab may do to resale. If I had a teenager or knew I was going to keep the car long term I would not hesitate...there are unbelieveable deals on them right now! I know you could tag a new one at Pep3 pricing about a month ago!

And in the middle of two moves I am trying to car shop....And I insist on a manual transmission which leaves me with very few choices these days. We have too many "fun" cars between my Solstice and my husband's Corvettes, but my short list is a CTS and a Camaro. I love the CTS, but it is a little big for me and a Camaro is not that practical of a daily driver...I can not even imagine getting a baby in the backseat and stroller in the trunk everyday! But I drive past Classic Chevrolet everyday now and am very tempted when I see one! I would get V6 , so my husband wouldn't take it over! We don't share cars well! He can order his own!

Decisions, decisions! My next car should have some really nice manual options!

Ugh..from what I gather you had a bad experience with a Buick

How would you determine the above is a POS...from the pictures?

And Buick was kept because globally it does very well...Have you been to China lately? They aspire to drive Buicks there...and they are young! Pontiac was not a global brand, and like it hasn't done well. It MAY have survived as a niche brand, but that just would have taken $ away from the core brands, and may or may not have been a successful business for GM.

As a fellow Solstice owner I am sad that Pontiac is gone, but it needed to happen for GM survive...I'm glad I got my Solstice when I did, but that does not change the fact GM lost $ on everyone they sold. Currently Enclaves and LaCrosses are selling like hot cakes...what's the last Pontiac that you could say the same about?

The only way I'd ever be able to get a Camaro is through PEP3 pricing, but I can't seem to find any...

Sounds like ATS would be perfect for you if it wasn't still a few years away.

Yes...the ATS is perfect Maybe next time...

I have not seen any available Camaros to tag either--keep looking. I don't think CTF go that route and it will be a few more months before employees who ordered a regular Camaro as their company car would be turning it in And returning from an ISP meant no time to drive and buy. We did not drive and buy the Saab either...Jeff didn't want to have to drive it (It has grown on him a bit!)

Buick: Overpriced, underpowered, conglomerate of mixed manufacturers appeal. Its like a GTO inside covered by a BMW exterior...Please die so Chevy can use the money for real cars!

The Buick-hate is so unfounded it's hysterical.

I know...I am no Buick lover, but all of this hate has me wanting to defend it because it is so outrageous!

Oh, and we had a GTO and I've been inside this Buick....NO similarites unless both being a car with an IP qualifies...The exterior also looks nothing like a BMW, but really is that a bad thing...to be compared with a BMW for far less $$?

Me, either...and me, too!

I admit, I love the LaCrosse...and really, if I were in a position to buy a daily-driver right now? I would have a tough time finding a reason not to get one. That said, I respect the brand and its place in GM's lineup. The recent sales reports 95% of sales came from Chevy, Caddy, Buick, and GMC validates their decision to keep the brand, and the new products they're unveiling are impressive to say the least.

Besides just being emotional about it, there's nothing bad about Buick right now!

Your opinion: overbearing, unfounded, conglomerate of unwanted feelings from a previous experience. It's like an old guy that makes fun of everything that walks by, yet never does anything himself.

Open your mind, and MAKE WAY for the NEW GM. Get used to game changers, cuz you gotta be moving to make money.
