the guy gets cut up real easily....besides that there is no reason to worry about fedor during a fight.... the guy just gets in the zone...he can get hit as many times as u want to hit him he will go for the submission on the ground or ko you standing up.

Fedor is a machine! He controls his emotions like noone I have ever seen. Techically, he has never lost a fight. The only lost on his record was from a bad cut several seconds into a fight years ago and fight was quickly stopped. The guy is so stoic, shows no emotions and never panics and doesn't have the physique of a proto-typical MMA fighter. I hope to see him in the UFC soon! Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko.

I noticed that he didnt look Rogers in the eye when the ref was giving instructions, does he typically do that? I'm guessing it's part of the plan.

I remember an interview with Frank Mir, but I forget who the interview was with, maybe ESPN radio, and they asked him who would win. Mir said that Lesnar would win

. I like Lesnar, but the only thing he would have going for him again Fedor is his strength. Yeah Lesnar is quick for his size, but Fedor is a whole lot quicker. Lesnar is a wrestler, so he may be able to control Fedor on the ground a bit better, but Fedor's Sambo may counter that.

You are right he was undeafeated, but he had fought a bunch of nobodies until Arlovski. He is not that great of a fighter. Hes strong and likes to throw bombs. Makes for an great fight to watch, but when he fights a true professional it shows how one sided he is. You will never see Fedor in UFC. They wouldnt agree to his terms to bring him in. They had the chance before Strikeforce picked him up. Oh well their loss...

Oh yea....they wanted half-ownership of the UFC in order for him to come over. Pity they couldn't have come to a better agreement. It would have made things a lot more interersting.

It wasnt a 50/50 split. There are several articles on what it entailed. There is one article that throws that out there, believe it was the former VP of Pride. The Pres of M-1 got more into detail and it was nowhere near 50/50split. Did they want a cut...hell yeah. You bring the #1 MMA fighter to the show and you deserve a percentage. Mostly they want that M-1 label in there. UFC/Dana White refuses to let that happen.

Yup, Rogers is sloppy but he hits like a truck. The knockout punch came when Fedor got inside a looping punch by Rogers.

The jab is the first few seconds showed Fedor's weakness, precision striking. Arlovski was beating Fedor with his boxing (he trained boxing with Freddie Roach for awhile), and might well have pulled it off if he hadn't gone for that stupid flying knee. Rogers looked ok early on, but once he got wild and sloppy, Fedor tagged him.

Yep that is Fedor in a nutshell. You can beat him to a pulp, but he still keeps coming. I've seen him beaten and bloodied in Pride matches, and still pull off a win. Its not even precision striking. Hes just not great at getting out of the way, keep turning to his opponents strong side, and trying to make himself a smaller target. He knows he can take a pounding, but in the end he will knock you or tap you out. Bob Sapp's big goofy ass was proof of this. Fedor was taking a beating from that beast of a man. Still made him tap. Dont know what it is about him, but he is one bad MoFo.
