One of the assembly line guys for the Challenger is a member of the CT message board. He said some time back they build about as many of them as they can at present for the 2010 models.

However for 2009 the plant was shut down more than it operated. A lot of the 2008 buyers are a little peeved because the 2008s were supposed to be the "collector" car, and I think they built fewer 2009s LOL.

I'm not up on all the production line timing and all that so I can't speak intelligently on it, but I do know there's no way they can build as many Challengers as Camaros.

I'm hoping to retrofit that to my R/T.
that is what i meant....straight button off...

In 2011 will they add a Super Duper Track Pack? Seems silly to have a track pack and a 'super track pack'.

The R/T has the 'R' down pretty good, its just needs a little help in the 'T' department

Not now, at least not with a massive investment*. They'd have a hard time building 1/2 as many, and only then if all the stars lined up right.

*GM announced today that they are investing around $100M at the CAMI plant which builds the Equinox and Terrain, because adding a 3rd shift wasn't enough to meet demand.
