98-99 is my guess. Cloth interior with a 6 speed manual. If it was a hardtop car, it would be a bit rare, more t top cars were produced. I’m thinking of selling my 5th Gen to get another 4th Gen SS, trying to find a Hardtop A4 SS is pretty damn difficult!

Yea its a 99 6 speed t top car.

Tires will be here today.
The exhaust is cut off after the cats and they are gutted. Luckily my close friends neighbor has a stock SLP axle back that's been sitting on a shelf for years. He said he will take $100 for it.
My plan is restoring it not really building it. I might run a LS6 cam and intake.

Maybe try and figure out why it looks like it has a lift kit.

That looks like it’s on the stock suspension, hence the lift kit look.

Very cool. I had a '99 SS M6/T-Top before my SS1LE. Great car, lot's of fun to drive.

That right height looks stock. Mine sat up high like that as well.

Interesting cam specs on that one, made for forced induction. I'd be curious what else is done to the motor.

You mentioned wanting to run an LS6 cam/intake. That would be a nice setup for a fun street car.

Its a project that my 16yo daughter is going in on with me. I figured LS6 setup would be a little easier for her to deal with in day to day driving.

Well, she had a 5speed saturn ion as her first car. I sold it out from under her and gave her my turbo Cadillac Ats. She has liked it but she was telling me the other day that she really misses a manual transmission. So. Here we are. Picked up this car that was on its way to being a dedicated track car and I'm going to reverse some of the things that were done. She says its so tough. Which apparently is equivalent of me saying something is cool.
