All valid questions and points. Difference is, the dolphins are not good and most view this next year as punting. Since they have no money and very little talent. Also, just because you never heard of Hafley. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t revered by other teams. He was a finalist for at least 4 other teams.

bills, the only reason to fire your HC, should be because you have a plan in place to replace a winning HC that helps take your team to playoffs every year and win divisions. But they didn’t. That’s how you know the owner messed up and fired based off emotion and no real plan. Promoting your OC is more proof of his idiotic firing.

That was the straw that broke the camels back with more poor game management and a lack of situational awareness.

I said during the season that we would be the laughing stock of the league if they fire him.

We could not get over the hump with McD

He was a good coach not a great coach.

He changed the culture and ended the drought and for that I am thankful but they were not winning a SB with him at the helm.

It was entirely possible for them to have won a superbowl with McD but they didn't. For years it seemed we could get a stop but the offense couldn't score. Say the JP Losman/ Takeo Spikes era. Now we can score but the defense needs to improve. I understand the change at coach as it seems part of the business but without addressing what is clearly the weak point on the team it seems like more of a lateral move. The press conference didn't help anything.

The defense needs improving and Allen could use a true number one receiver. Beane needs to put some pieces in place or be held to the same account McD was.

The D has always been suspect from Fraziers Tampa 2 back in 2017-21 bend but don't break to McD running the nickel 80% of the time.

They are all gone McD Bobby Babich Adiae the secondary coach.

Clean slate on offense and defense almost all of them have left for other teams.
This team is going to have a new vision and approach.
