Looking for my old ’92 Camaro RS – Baytown/Houston area

I was the original owner of this 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS and I’m trying to track it down after all these years. The VIN is 1G1FP23E5NL142352.

AutoCheck shows the car stayed in Baytown and Houston from 1994 through 2002. The last recorded event was a Houston emissions test in March 2002 with about 155k miles. No salvage, no auction history, no title issues, no accidents. It never left Texas on record.

From everything I can see, this car likely went to a private owner in Baytown around 1996 and may still be sitting in someone’s garage, shop, or backyard project today.

If you’ve seen this car, remember it, worked on it, or know anyone in Baytown/Houston who had a white ’92 RS with a 5.0 V8 around that time, I’d appreciate any lead. I’m not trying to bother anyone—just hoping to reconnect with the car I started with years ago.

VIN (last 8): NL142352
Full VIN: 1G1FP23E5NL142352

Any info or direction helps. Thank you.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

TGO (thirdgen.org) is probably your best bet in this case. They are fanatics over there. I learned a lot about my IROC from them.
