I don't know. This is discouraging to me. It sounds like he wants to turn it into a MachE clone.

I read the Next Gen Camaro will be ICE
This concept was recently showed at a GM design event there is no name attached to it. It looks like another tank turret greenhouse(must be for Nascar aero ![]() https://www.lsxmag.com/news/a-hidden...10%2F31%2F2025

I find it both interesting and retarded that GM dropped a 17,000 dollar carbon fiber ZLE aero package for the 6th Gen last week. I know they did it so they could update the cup cars in nascar but it’s still something to think about I guess. Maybe they haven’t given up on us Camaro guys completely but I can’t help but thing how stupid it truly is to release a package on a platform like this that is now 2 years defunct.i know why they did it. They needed the nascar update but still. If they had promoted the 6th gen better it probably could have stood a chance at still being in production, instead of intentionally letting sales slide so they could justify killing it, in the name of electric.

NASCAR requires the bodies to be called after a model is currently in production or is scheduled to go into production. For GM to willingly drop the Camaro name from the NASCAR body shows that they do not currently have any plans for a next gen Camaro. |

They absolutely did it for nascar because they have no way of updating the body with out the current car in/scheduled for production or in this case updated body parts being available to the public. The rules say they can’t update the ‘24 car unless a new model is released or apparently new parts are released for the old model to update it. Been deeply into nascar for 30+ years, this has been the case for decades even back to the 50’s and 60’s.
NASCAR has been allowing them to run the ‘24 car but unchanged. Ford and Toyota have both got new body updates since Chevrolet has. They announced the cup chevys were getting updates earlier this year, and low and behold 3 days before they dropped the new cup car, GM drops the CF aero kit the 6th Gen ZL1 which includes a new hood… which of course the cup car got. Definitely for nascar. Study the facts next time…

It has already been announced the update is NOT being called the Camaro. Again repeat after me, IT HAS BEEN PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED THAT THE BODY CHANGES IS NOT TAKING AFTER THE CAMARO ANYMORE! Regardless of what you may think you know, public announcements by those in charge and in the know, have stated you are wrong! It doesn't matter jack what they release for the Camaro because the body isn't reflecting it anymore. GM is going to announce a new V8 sedan sometime soon and money has it that the NASCAR change is reflecting that. The Camaro getting new aero is just a side effect. |

And…. Here’s one straight from nascar I accidentally stumbled upon while reading another story about the ongoing lawsuit. This was after my post above.
