Ding ding ding! A new Wildcat concept has been revealed.
It's a 2-door 2+2 EV

Personally, I could not care less about electric cars.

What I would suggest is naming trim level variants of the Camaro, kind of like the way that Jeep Wrangler has the Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. Panther could be one of the variants. the name Panther seems way too cool to hang on some electric POS. That's just my two cents. Apologies for pooping in this thread. Sorry.
Well there just happened to be a violent radical group named the Panthers at the time and GM prudently put the name away

That name at that time could have tanked the car

At least the modern 4 banger can get out of its own way

The 4 banger Iron Duke that GM used in the 3rd gen from 82-86 made 90hp and weighed 375 lbs

The newer 4 weighs about 295 lbs and puts out 275hp

This is true... and the turbo 1LEs are pretty awesome on the autox track too.

My GF has a 2019 Caddy ATS with the Turbo 4 and it will chirp the tires in 2 gears.

I remember when she bought it... she points to the front wheels "look I have Brembo's too"

I couldn't have been more proud

I rode in the Camaro with a professional driver at NCM when they first came out and had to make them lift the hood afterwards and prove it was a 4 cylinder. Never doubted these since.

Three years with mine and my only complaint is having to shell out to replace the run flats with decent tires. Great engine in a great car.

I never had the misfortune of being assigned a 3rd gen with the boat anchor Iron Duck but I did have to live with a 4th gen with 4th gen with the 3800 and a 5spd. A complete waste of a manual trans and nice car made completely boring.

Both the 5th and 6th gens had the best base engines of all generations.

I had a 2001 Firebird GT 3.8L A4 with T Tops and it wasn't boring but it also wasn't stock.

I lowered it with BMR springs and had Bilsteins

I had a set of 2002 5 spoke Vette wheels 18 rears and 17 fronts WS6 sway bars

That thing handled like a rat wearing Reeboks

There is an old saying..."its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow"

BTW my other car at the time was a 1999 TA the 6 banger was my DD
