And what long term quality issues? GM's quality standards have improved leaps and bounds under Lutz's supervision.

And Lutz isn't going anywhere. He's still in charge of marketing at GM, which, if you haven't noticed, has also improved leaps and bounds.

As many times as I have had to drop this car for service, I sure have. Car looks awsome. The dash sqeeked the passenger side windows leaked air. And this car had 3000 miles on it.

It was run into the ground because they tried to be like the import cars. Which domestics are not nor should they EVER try to be.

This is nothing out there to back that statement up.. I am a GM guy but also will not lie to myself.

Of course there is. JD Power and Associates studies and ranks automotive brands in order of quality. Buick has overtaken lexus at the top of the list, and GM brands have continuously shown improvement with import brands declining.

Go back and check that statement, not long term only short term. More then likely I gave this CTS a good grade when it was new, how about they ask me now.

The studies are conducted three years after each model year. They haven't even asked you about your CTS yet.

I just hope the direction they are hending in is a good one, the country needs it. And I still want the Z28 when it comes out.
