I haven’t banned you as you “demanded,” and then asked for…. because you haven’t committed any major offense, though this thread certainly qualifies… I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt with regards to controlling your emotions…

In our current society, Illegals, Illegal aliens, Illegal persons is a very contentious subject… It isn’t spelled out in the rules just like AR15’s aren’t mentioned in the Constitution… Our rules have been developed over many years, long before you got here, and they were specifically directed to give us broad powers to keep the site friendly to all…

I don’t allow bashing of V-6 models by V-8 owners, nor SS bashing by ZL1 owners… These things create hard feelings, and problems for us, that personally I don’t have time to deal with… I’m up to my butthole with spammers and the 2 or 3 active mods are right there with me… I can’t come here and read for enjoyment like I should be able to, because of spammers and whiners who got a simple warning… I was a Camaro owner and member in good standing here before I was selected to be a mod…

AGAIN, I’m not obligated to explain my reasons for the warning, and your interpretation is completely irrelevant… This is a privately owned site, and we are not beholden to the 1st Amendment… We, the moderators and the Admin make the rules and enforce the same… You are welcome to stay to this point, provided you post within the rules of posting, and you request to have this thread deleted… I don’t even want nor need an apology…

Your interpretation of our rules and accusations of me being woke appear to be projecting…

Josh, are there any post filters or automatically applied rules in this forum engine? These spam posts are so easy to identify from their metaproperties, all one needs to do is define a few filters and they'd be gone, never to return.

Well, at least until AIs can make actual posts that look like genuine contributions, but we could cross that bridge when we get there.

The difference being you are an admin… We are but lowly moderators…. Owner seems a bit eccentric and apparently doesn’t trust us to have IP ban capabilities… I’ve asked…

Problem right now is only three of us are even logging into the boards… and we spend a huge amount of time chasing these prick spammer bots…, and sensitive people that get panties in a wad over a simple warning…

If the three of us decided not to log in, the board would either crash from over saturation with spammers, or it would become unusable due to spam posts… Hell the paid adverts are bad enough….

I would love to come in and read and interact with friends, offer my limited knowledge, but with hundreds of spam posts a day, from dozens of bots…. Who has time???
