High School Student Just Bought '16 SS

Hey Everyone, New Here. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm currently a high school student and mechanic who buys and sells cars on the side. It has been my dream to own an American 8-cylinder, standard trans car. Two weeks ago, I fulfilled that dream. I purchased a vandalized 2016 Camaro 2SS 6M for just under 14k and paid cash. The vandalism is limited to a few bullet holes in the trunk, but thankfully, it didn't hit anything important. I haven't figured out if I want to leave em or fix em, but I think they look cool. So far, I've put tires on it, replaced the windshield, and replaced the A11 Radio Module. (None of those got hit by bullets by the way). That's me, everyone. By the way, it is my absolute favorite thing to drive and puts a smile on my face everytime I start it up, and if you have any questions, let me know.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

I don't know if they still have those novelty bullet hole stickers. This would seem to be the perfect application for those!

Otherwise, maybe some sort of diagonal color-contrasting wrap extending up from the sides of the car and over the back bumper and/or trunk (something that would look like a forward facing wedge, looking from the sides of the car). Or something similar but asymmetrical that mainly covers the areas with the bullet holes, perhaps with a complimentary asymmetrical wrap on the opposing front corner of the car... this would need a bit of thought to keep it from being a bigger visual disaster than the bullet holes.

Also, on a slightly different topic, look into adding some security measures related to the OBD exploit thefts. Search the forums for each of the terms OBD, theft, and kill switch. This will bring up some important info.

Well, they certainly are a conversation topic but, I’d have to get rid of them.

I'd really get rid of those!! Makes the car look "unsightly".. Just sayin.. And also makes you say ok, where did they come from, and why are they there??

Wow, they look serious. Yeah, would be a conversation starter for sure. Not so sure that is a conversation I would want to have tho.. lol. I would definetly have to get them fixed as soon as I could.
