Fun to watch. I enjoy drag racing and the non prepped cars like the Lucid make it more relevant to me than purpose built pro cars to watch at the drag strip. The ease of launching the EVs even on less than perfect roads and street tires is amazing.

edit: I wanted to see what the plaids are going for now. A great condition low mi few year old example can be had for $60k. The Demons are known to sell way beyond MSRP so over twice that price. IDK now that it's known they blow motors what used sell for and I don't care. Where the hands down winner goes to getting attention, a Demon will draw a crowd in a parking lot or get stolen and the Tesla will go ignored like a Kia.
