By the way, I've had spectacular success in sticker and adhesive removal with Goo Gone, but boy, does it take some time and patience.

Yes. Get some PPF on it. Drive it. Don't save the car for anyone else. Enjoy it. Don't fret over the little things that come from driving the car. They are too damn expensive to just let sit in a garage somewhere.

I agree with getting PPF, but based on what you posted, I would be very careful picking the shop to do the work. Also you should warn them you want it to be perfect.
I've had PPF in the past with some flaws that annoyed me, and I'm generally not picky about my cars. Oh, one other thing about PPF is when you apply wax or sealer, you want to make sure you don't get any on the edges of the PPF. It's hard to clean off the edges, and you will see the lines. I would tape the edges of the PPF prior to waxing, or stay far awau from them. |

Drive it and don’t sweat the small things that happen to the car. Enjoy the SS!

I would agree just drive it and enjoy it. And this is coming from someone with extreme ocd about the appearance of my car. And just be aware, even with PPF you may still get impacts that go right through it and damage the paint underneath. Plus, not sure how PPF is going to prevent debris from getting caught in between the splitter and the bumper.
