275/40/20 up front

I’ve tried searching but wanting to know if there’s an issue running 275/40/20s all around the car vs staggered? I don’t drive the car much but tires are dry rot and I have 4 new 275/40/20s

If you use them with OEM rear rims, you won't have a problem. But the wheels will be unusually recessed in the wheel arch. They have a not very suitable backspace.

You won't have an issues as long as the wheels on the front have the correct offset. You will need at least a 9 inch wide wheel for them to fit correctly, not the 8's that come stock on the SS/RS Camaros'. I had them on the front of mine for a bit, but on a 10 inch wheel, before those, on a 9 inch wheel..

They’re stock oem wheels. The fronts are 8s? I thought they were 9s and 10.5s?

I measured rims and it’s outside to outside rears are 10s and fronts are 9s 9.25” inside rear and 8.5 fronts

Here is what the stock OEM wheels specs are. Looks like the rear's with their offset would maybe cause some issue with the front suspension. Like George said, it would be tucked in a lot.

Front: 20x8 Offset: 35 Backspacing: 5.9 Rear: 20x9 Offset: 40 Backspacing: 6.6

Have you looked into getting the rears repaired? Some of those guys can work miracles. Your car's too damn good looking to to take short cuts.

No what I mean is I have 2 sets of rims. Original and another set. Of course both are staggered. So I took to 2 best front and 2 best rears and that’s what I’m putting on the car. I bought another set with rims and tires way back when and installed them. Then I bought 2 rear tires back in 2012 or something and thinking my front set were good, I bought 2 more rears just last month. So now I have 4 275/40/20. That’s why I was asking if I could put those on a front rim? But I ordered 2 front 245/44/20s. So no worries

You can, but it would NOT be optimal. It would pull in the sidewall. The 275/40 calls for a minimum rim width of 9 inches like I posted above, and as stated also by bluebagger, the fronts are only 8 inches. Most of the aftermarket 9 inch wide wheels that are offered for the 5th gen Camaro for a "squared" setup are a +30 offset, right in the middle of what is on there stock. Looks like you got it figured out though.
