FFFFFFFFFFFFF.. might get into a bid war with the Z/Berlinetta at the last minute. Some guy is trying to buy it out from under me on Saturday. I told him I'd give him 1200 on the spot (after pulling it from El Banko) if it looked and worked smooth. I'm checking it out friday..

May have to make the decision then and there. Not to mention I'd have to fast-track my ins. from Progressive too. Thank god it's on a Friday.

And liking it quite a bit.

P.S. - Zabo - you should be able to get the insurance done quick if you go into an actual office. Go in today or tomorrow morning, tell them you want to pay for it starting friday and then get a refund if you don't end up buying the car. Call them as soon as you complete the deal if it works out, and they'll just start the coverage "backdated" to Friday. At least thats the way its always worked when I've bought cars.

P.P.S. - Then again, I don't use progressive.

1984 Starship Camaro. 305 reinstall off of the guy's 87. Comp needs repinning, tee fitting on the back axle needs to be replaced, and carbs rebuilt. Thats. It.

Interior is a little sunworn, but it's the old black zebrastripe interior from the 84.

Paying cash on Friday if it looks clean (was a 85-90% resto, no engine when he bought it though).

Nice, looks like the price is right. I wish we were closer, I'd love to come help you wrench on that thing!

Does this change your race with X at C5 Fest?

Zabo and I have been talking about that actually - I may be bringing the maxim if its finished by then.

Which would blow anything he's got clean out of the water.
