Well said. You tell me which car will fetch for bigger bucks in 30+ years.

I would take the camaro's looks over the BMW, the camaro has a unique look to it, you see it and say "Camaro!" but the BMW...well alot of them look the same to me, only difference is some are bigger, some are smaller.

I was TOTALLY set on getting a BMW 135i manual mostly loaded UNTIL I got several magazines with the new 2010 Camaro in them. NOW my friends are telling me they would rather have the CAMARO over the BMW.

The BMW is "everywhere" The Camaro SS WILL SNAP NECKS.

I better buy a trunk load of neck braces.

^ I can only count the 4 135i's I've seen since the car was launched in May of this year.

I live near a very RICH area where many NICE cars are around and STILL haven't seen a 135i YET.

When I sat in a 135i I loved it, but the passenger seat was very small. NOT much room in the car, its only 68" wide.

OK This is the last time I will say this. The original slang term for ALL BMW's is BEEMER. The only contry in the WORLD that says BIMMER is America. So I'll take the majority of the world's view. Thankyou very much.

Well, that was a nice piece of info you just made up,but nice try
The term comes from BSA motorcycles, they were called Beezers,so the BMW crowd called their bikes Beemers. When BMW started making popular cars, the 4-wheeled enthusiast wanted their own nickname so Bimmer was born. Americans couldn't give a crap about a BMW until the '70s,so we're alittle late to the party to be giving a nickname to a car that had been around since the '30s,and been making bikes since the '20s.
I know,i know.....you hate me.

A large portion of the population pronounces Porsche as 'Porsh'. Doesn't make them right.

A Very Highly Placed BMW Spokesperson said the following (reproduced here without permission).
... generally speaking, one calls the bikes Beemers and the cars Bimmers....

I dont care what you think is right the general word for BMW's everywhere I've been is Beemer. I dont give a damn what you want to call it. Im calling those shits beemers. And the media refers to all beemers as beemers. So you can go bang your heads against the walls together if that help.
