You could be right, and we just haven't encountered one of those out of the loads and loads he's smoked with me in the truck.. I don't know much about em personally.. Was just saying not all toyotas are slow.

And like i said i wasn't trying to hate or anything..

Well except for ford.. Geez i dislike the one i drive now so much that i drive the much older, dirtier, ragged on GMC truck that belongs to the farm whenever i get the chance..

But wow i just had the longest dejavu ever typing that haha..

I know first-hand that the Corolla's will do over 60. Unfortunately they rattle like hell over 60.

And i have driven enough 5.4 Fords to know they aren't going to win any races either.

Not to mention there are a lot of them in the junk yard with rust problems.
Bet you heard nothing about that on the news.

In order to shift with an automatic transmission, the brake has to be held down.
If the car doesn't know that you are holding the brake down, then you will be unable to shift into neutral. You are basically going to go down with your rice burner.

Definitely not true. You can be going 120mph and shift into neutral with an automatic. You cannot, however, shift from neutral to reverse , from reverse to park, or from park to reverse (unless the brake is down).

So when did you drive the new tundra?
What do you think unsuccessful products, ever growing reliability concerns, slipping quality standards, and corporate arrogance leads to?

Oh, and for reference...

October 2008 F-series sales: 39,496 units sold.
October 2008 Silverado sales: 31,754 units sold.
October 2008 Sierra sales: 11,894 units sold.

October 2008 Tundra sales: 7,537 units sold.

No diesel...no heavy duty model...worst fuel economy in its class...
