That was not even close to being the best game of the year. lol. The OU Miami game was much better, and that's only looking at the games that have been played by OU and TX.

Just like in the NFL, you tend to find that games are closer and generally not as high scoring due to the level of talent on Defense. If you'd like, you can site the BCS record of SEC team's vs. other conferences... we tend to do very well. Imagine the numbers Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow or Hershel Walker would have put up if they were playing touch football in the big 12

I don't think it's a good idea to give these kids damn near two months off and expect to get what you finished the season with.

I say it because its true, the NC game shouldn't be so spread out. Team's go in out of rhythm because of it. However, I don't believe it effects who will win the game.

The NFL is far from superior in any sense but the playoffs. One of the biggest knocks on a NCAA playoff system comes how NFL regular season games don't mean as much, and if you don't think that mentally effects how hard players push on every play then your nuts.

NFL has a better way of crowning a champion, college football is much more exciting.
