The “fifty” ZL1 2017’s with a shortened production will also have an added appeal down the road as being first year run. Of course, you would have to be precautionary regarding the oil pump. I’ll probably replace it at some point though, for peace of mind.

100% True... my 19 has held quite well but my comment was more about comparing the 23 vs 24 and making the decision to go 23 over a 5k MSRP hike.

It will be interesting to see if the 2024 model will be worth more just because it's the last year they made them. 2002 camaros aren't worth much more than the 2000s

Sure, there is some significance in it being the final year but only to a few people, that might be enough to make it worth a little more.

It was easy for me, it’s already virtually impossible to get your hands on a ‘23. So for me the decision was pretty easy. When one showed up that met my requirements, I jumped on it. As far as values go, regardless of year, the closer the mileage is to zero the more it’s going to be worth! The ‘23 already incurred a large price jump.

5 k over MSRP , heck I'd pay that, my Salesman told me more in the 10 to 20 k .

Not 5K over MSRP, but the ‘24 model is 5K more on the base price than a ‘23. That said I got my ‘23 at sticker -750, I just had to drive 1000 miles round trip to get it.

My salesman at one dealership told me 45K over.

But my comments are about those complaining about the 5k MSRP increase which just goes along with everything else in the world going up now. My recent ZR2 purchase had the exact same thing. This is also the same financial debate for any car with a new model year coming up. The old ones start heavy discounts and the new one's go up a bit and you have to decide. With this CE not many even have a chance to get an allocation so complaining about price is easy pickings.

Oops I see that now , yours MSRP -750 , nice job , me well when I went to pick her up , they added there Az Desert premium Package (still haven't figured that one out) I was not happy, so I tried the I don't want the car , give me back my deposit, they said no problem, well have it sold in the next few days (this was last September 22. At that point I put my tail between my legs , and took Delivery. I waited 5 months for this Car .

Mlee you’re right, the prices are going up and a few extra K isn’t going to matter. If it does matter you’re likely making a bad decision to begin with. It’s the end of the line for the ICE Camaro. Prices will go nuts. Old Camaro pricing has nothing to do with the current and future values. As the prices for the Red Eyes and Demons have gone to the moon, it’s only natural that people who can’t get their hands on one these will likely gravitate to the next available car. This will likely drive pricing up very high. Remember there is no year after.
