every time the clutch is pushed in 0 hp is going to the rear wheels, not so with an automatic, if its good enough for the lemans camaro it's good enough for me.

For some it’s more about engagement than performance. To each their own though.

Besides having a more engaging feeling with the car, there is the extra exclusivity that having a manual gearbox benefits (demand and value). I have not seen actual production numbers on autos versus manuals across all models. But I am sure auto numbers are three or four times more prevalent, maybe more.

I've owned both and it was no comparison for me, the 6 spd. The 10 spd just has too many gears and the adaptive learning wasn't so great, and paddle shifting was not as much fun as I thought it would be. Even driving the LT1 with the 7 spd in my Corvette isn't as much fun, I think gearing they did with the 6 spd is perfectly matched to the LT1. So even tho I'm going to pay for it in traffic jams, the '24 is gonna be a manual.

The ONLY negative for the auto on my ZLE is getting the fluid hot enough to ensure the proper level. Its shift points are perfection.

I think a lot of people missed the Manual is a V6 and the Auto is a V8

A10 iss certainly faster but to be fair the lemans camaro is not even a camaro and it's not using the same transmission.

Anybody can drive a A10, not everyone can drive a 6spd.
