68 man you need to get comfortable with the idea that we have forms so people can agree with eachother without other raining on thier parade.

This isn't a free to post as you want web site. We have designated places for v6 guys to discuss the v6 and they should be able to do so without V8 guys telling them they should have gotten a v8...

Just like we never told you (seriously) that you should have gotten the Camaro...

Keep your hope high, I interviewed for about 4 yrs and next year may have to start all over again.

Yep... Like back when i had the interview for the store manager thought the interview went great felt really good about it and never got a call back.... and then couldn't find anything but truck driver jobs... thought well ill go get my cdl and drive a truck (it was always something i wanted to do anyway) Pay the money for the training.. school says "we can get you a job once you complete the class" so i finish the class and they give me a certificate and a list of companies that "love to hire our grads" got a road test with one.. the guy said i did a good job and telling me how good it would work out since i am so close to a place they pull out of.... said he had 4 others to road test and wanted to give them a chance.. well i call after a few days and says that it came down between me and the other guy and probably i did a better job on the road test and "complemented" me on my driving but gave it to the other guy that was on unemployment... ( which after a lil digging i found out that he gets 4 grand for hiring the guy and another 5grand if the guy stays for a year) call the rest ofthe list and noone will hire without 1-2 years experience... though about a company that said they would take me but amhaving a hard time getting past being out for 6-8 weeks.... then was told the local door plant needed a yard jockey... pay isn't the greatest but has benefits... i go up and talk to them and they tell me to come in the next day for orientation... i get there fill out some papers and then they tell me welll we'll call you...

i know you think it sucks having to ask your parents to help but at least you have someone to help

True I have not read the Thread but all I am saying is if there a ppl that are buying the 6 and are not happy with it and want to tell ppl they are not happy to try and let others know they might want to consider that before purchasing one so as to have more to consider in making their purchase , could be a good thing , I don't agree with someone bashing another persons car and that was not was I was trying to sugjest just that different opinions are not always bad , and if you all want to bash my car , thats cool cause I don't have to listen to it , just don't see why everyone has to get all up in arms over every thing , thats all I am saying

My only problem with what you've said here is you are assuming the v6 guys are unhappy with the v6.. that isn't the case. They just want to mod their rides just like the v8 guys do... they should be able to discuss those mods without someone ruining it with "a v8 is better" comment that doesn't contribute to the topic at hand...

I agree completely. But the guy I was referring to is a 4th gen SS owner (read: doesn't even have a 2010. I could go get a 4th gen V8 for half the price of a 2010 V6, much less a V8) who came into a thread in the V6 forum asking about exhaust advice in order to basically say

"LOL - more power and good sound from a V6? Should have just gotton the V8."

And yes, it annoyed the crap out of me. Not just because he was blatantly rude but because that happens in almost EVERY SINGLE THREAD POSTED IN THE V6 FORUM.

And if you don't believe me, spend some time reading in there. The number of V8 guys just making posts to say how much better the V8 almost equals the number of V6 people in there.
