not necessarily. he could pick it up and say his dad has the truck he's going to use to tow with. hell, I picked up a Uhaul trailer with a 78 camaro. told them I was just picking it up with the car and was using the truck to tow it with. lmao.... looked funny as hell with it hooked up.

Doubt my dad would allow me to borrow the Silverado to pick up a dolly (probably would be stuck with doing a two wheel dolly since it's probably only 250lbs on top of the Camaro which would weigh around 3K and change).

Either way probably not going to tow it anyhow.. I've towed with the '04 2500 (LQ4 with asinine amounts of low end tq) and that blew ass. One off I would assume.. especially with as many problems as we've had with that thing.

what did you do to the truck? ass=rear end?

Kinda sorta. Electrical mostly. Always had electrical issues with that thing. Went back to using the Cheyanne to tow stuff for the club because it was less of a PITA to work with. Oddly enough the plow setup always worked fine on the Silverado, though..

Not to mention we've already had to replace the entire dash because that FUBAR'd on us at 35K miles back on '05. A/C compressor twice, Heater core twice.. Still a good truck mechanically, but GM just put too much fancy crap in there that broke easily. I mean it's a friggin HD WORK TRUCK!

Also, I'm not on the insurance for the truck (certain people at the course only) so I'm literally barred from using it. And if they see the Explorer they'd probably just ask to bring the truck regardless due to the ZOMGFIRESTONEGOBOOMROLLOVERWEALLGONNADIE thing.. <_<
