They could use this as a commercial similar to the Equinox fuel economy one, where they say "We wanted to bring you the competetion but they ran out of gas on the highway" or words to that effect. Only this time "We'd like to tell you the CTS-V is faster than the Mercedes-Benz AMG-63 or Jaguar XFR but they wouldn't let a car race against us"
