Not really. Terrain and Equinox are both on Theta-II, SRX is on Theta-Epsilon.

My fiance and I are plannin on getting the exact same ride.. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back?? We plan to order ours with just about all the options and I have GM Supplier Discount as well as military and USAA discounts to work with.. Trying to see what kind of play with the cost we are gonna have. Nice ride by the way.

A fully loaded LTZ with 3.0L SIDI V6, Trailering package, sunroof, 19 inch chrome-clad wheels, navigation system, rear entertainment system, and Pioneer 8-speaker sound system will set you back $34,095 after Supplier Pricing.

AWD will cost a bit more.

the longest i've seen one on the lot at my dealer was 2 days, the gmc terrain got sold literally within an hour of it coming off the truck.

Ok, so we getting a pretty good deal then.. Thus far, WITH AWD and WITHOUT the trailering package and all of the other options we were looking at about 34,400 or so.

The Terrain and Equinox are unbeatable in their segment (e.g. Toyota RAV-4, Honda CRV). We liked the somewhat more "squared-up" look of the Terrain. Does that mean me/wife are a couple of squares?

The new Equinox and Terrain look awesome, and are... but i can't beat the SRX! This thing is so much fun to drive, and i have so many gizmos to play with!! (just in the dealer one, mine isn't here yet...)

haha, I always kind of thought the Terrain was more masculine with it's bold grills and squared off shapes n the Equinox had a more feminine look to it with its softer lines. Granted, I love both of them I think they are extremely attractive. I'm not sure which of the two I would pick. I probably would go with the Terrain probably because it's got a very bold design ha. But the Equinox is drop dead sexy too so idk ha.
