It's the same CAI the Bullitts had, you are correct. The Bullitts also had a different exhaust than a stock GT, and they had 3.73 gears standard. They also had an upgraded suspension.

I liked the ball shifter they had too. I actually put a billiard ball shifter in my car.

The 2010's cai is different and better then the bullits. The suspensions are very similar however

I read they are the same.

If the 2010s are better, why are both cars rated at 315hp?

I love the interior also, of all of them it just gives the greatest feeling of a true 60s musclecar interior, dark, not overdone, just right.

Have to disagree with the comments above, I can tell this car will kick ass when it is broken in - I suspect it will take my R/T, much to my dismay. I was surprisingly impressed. Plus it makes her happy so I'm happy. For those who want to beat a dead horse, flame away, I really don't give a crap regarding people talking smack about things they really don't know about anyway. Here's a pick from the dealer!
That is a nice Mustang! Could you get a few pictures of those 2 bruisers side by side? Does it have the track pack or just the 19 inch wheels?

Does the Bullitt run faster times then the 2010 GT?

I remember reading the Bullitts were running 13.5s, and stock 2005-2009 GTs were running 13.8s. I haven't seen what the 2010s are running.

I believe they are running 13.5's in magazines... I'm sure they've at least go to 13.3 by now. I'll have to look it up.

dont be rediculous the CAI on the bullet is the same as the 2010. The main differences come from gears, suspension (track pack), and interior/exterior modifications.

Went to the Sat night meet this past weekend. There was quite the turnout on the part of the local Challenger owners. There were some beauties there. One guy had a Vortech on his B5 Blue R/T cause he was sick of getting spanked by his son's LS1 equipped Trans Am. There was an SRT that had a built 440 stroker, I think that's what the guy stated. I am still waiting to see some of the Gen5 Camaros out there in droves like that. It's really awesome to see a bunch of Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers hanging out in the same lot for a few hrs. The Charger guys made a strong showing too, just don't catch my attention like the Camaro and Challenger though.

I'd like to know how the guy got a Vortech on his R/T. There is no tune available for that combination as of yet. I know two folks who got it done, but it required a custom tune and HOURS of work. One guy tried three different shops before the tune was fixed.

Seems the new R/T computer system is quite complex and will adjust tunes that are applied on the fly.

I realized later that I should've asked him. I noticed the s/c on the driver's side behind the headlamp assembly and followed the intake tube up to the t/b. I could see the Vortech on the tube and the head unit was definitely a Vortech. He was talking to somebody else so I caught up with him later and asked him how much boost he was running. He said 8psi and he had it installed at a place called American Racing Technology or A.R.T. that's a local shop. I was just assuming he'd have tuned it as well because that's just what you do when you add a s/c....LOL. If I run into him again, I will absolutely remember to ask and let you know.

That explains it. ART is one of the shops that successfully tuned the guy I know that got one.

I think Brian is the guy's name and he's claimed to be very good. 481RWHP and 470RWTQ are the numbers on that 8psi system.

That was the owners name, Brian. ART is where I had my Mustang dynoed as well. He said he has no problem with his son's LS1 anymore. Those are impressive numbers on the Challenger, that damn weight just eats the HP gains up to a certain extent. I drive a car that's only 60 hp less and about 70 less on the rwtq but it weighs 3,000 lbs. I can feel it when I have a couple of floor jacks in the back of mine.
