I saw this yesterday. I know it's a bit petty, but I don't like the wheels on either the example GT or GT-Performance edition. I think the wheels on some of the other trims are better looking and more performance oriented looking than these...but hey...that's my opinion.

The name....yes I still think it was/is a big mistake. You just don't name a CUV a Mustang. Can it look like a Mustang? Sure. But it isn't one.

I wonder what these trims are gonna be priced at. Somewhere around 60 grand I'd assume...but could the GT-Performance be priced higher than the "First Edition"? Not sure, but it starts at $61,000.

In the auto industry, a name can be a big deal. It's significant. Especially if it's iconic. If there's a following, a community around it.

Name aside, I’d have no qualms buying that. It’s a very capable battery electric crossover with a 250+ mile range at a decent price.

IMO this is the problem, not that Ford wants in on the electric SUV game.

Actually some people think the new Blazer is an attempt at a Camaro SUV from Chevy!

Well it isn’t exactly an electric Mustang as much as it’s an electric SUV that Ford put the Mustang name on.

If we get an electric Camaro from GM I predict it’s actually worthy of the name as far as performance AND handling. Yes, many will have issues with it but GM was part way down the path with a FWD Camaro many years ago.

I think the electric car idea is interesting, but by no means do I think its really mainstream yet. Oh sure the tesla is cool, but at $125k it should be. And after 3-5 years, who want a used electric car, when the battery pack costs more to replace than the cars worth?

Oh sure, as if the Mustang 2 wasn`t a bad enough abomination for Ford they decided to top that with a 4 door! Maybe add a Edsel 2 to the line up!
