UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun
Anybody going to watch this event tomorrow? It's not a very good card, but I expect to see a good main event.
My pick is Machida wins by K.O. Not sure about Velasquez vs. Rothwell...I haven't seen Rothwell fight in a long time, but I think Velasquez will win by TKO. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Awesome fight card, but I live in Fla. so I'm just heading over for a buddies house for the same ol' Poker and UFC night.
Machida by Dec. and Cain by KO early 2nd. I cant wait for Lesnar vs Carwin fight. |

I'm glad Machida won, but everybody here gave the fight to Shogun. He was the aggressor and controlled the ring all 5 rounds. I think he landed more hits than Machida did.
Velasquez vs. Rothwell was a good slug fest. You guys think it was stopped prematurely? It might have been, but Rothwell was getting rocked for most of the fight. I guess I was right about Velasquez winning by TKO... Lesnar vs. Carwin might be boring, but it does intrigue me on how it will go. See you guys at the next UFC!!!

shogun won.....i was rooting for machida but shogun was the aggressor. at worst i saw a split or draw going to machida. you need to take the belt away from the champ not kick him and land a few hits. shogun needed to do more than that to take the belt.

The only thing Rua had going for him the entire fight was the kicks. Machida had some great counter punching/kicking and looks as if he was setting up more attacks than Rua. I had to give it to Machida, although I would love to see a rematch. As for Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, holy crap! I love to watch that dude throw hand gernades, and I think he will be moving up in weight. |

If you heard Goldberg, he even called out Rogan on it. Somthing along the lines of "You're only saying Shogun..." Even Dana White told Shogun, "you won that fight." Yes he landed some leg kicks, but even when Machida countered, Shogun moved out of the way and countered again with another kick.
I wanted Machida to win btw, but I think he should have won definitively. Even the "viewers poll" thought the fight would end by KO. Rematch is very probable in the near future.
