Zabo - you're nuts. Maybe you just didn't get to open it up as much as you needed to, but the 2LT/RS that I just drove was ORGASMIC! Like seriously, we're talking JIMP.

The blind spots weren't even really noticable... the weight was the same... the pirelli's stuck like glue... the tap shift was great (though I'd still prefer a true stick)... the torque was DEFINITELY there. Power was there all the way past 110. It would definitely pull to the 155 speed limiter with no problems.

Getting on the on ramp I was at 80+ in what felt like a millisecond. Got it up to 112 and it was super stable. The throttle blip on down shift was great. The seats fit just right and are super comfortable.

Seriously guys - I need a second job.

Never said that I didn't hate it. IMO I think Ive become mute to the 6's charms but that may have been my insides saying 'you know you cant have it.' I have to pay off my loans first off, and it's doable at 24K a year working for my dad (all money goes toward the loans.. free food, gas, and housing back home.) So.. blarg.

Also driving that auto for the first time in what seemed like forever did remind me why I love the camaro.. Unfortunately the fastest I got it to today was 95 (lolohiocops remember? Also Derp-Derp LUNCH TAIME FRIDAY.. )

My only qualm is that I didn't have time to adjust the mirrors.. otherwise what blind spot? Not to mention the dealer babysitter breathing down my neck. He was quick to defend the burning smell (it had 26 miles when I brought it back, 20 when we left) and I just said..

"Probably because I had it in M the whole time and I was just wearing in the trans."

I have no idea why, but every time I bring up being an AP mechanic and wannabe pilot now, I always get "Well did ya hear about the guys over Milwaukee?"

"Yeah.. fell asleep at the wheel. I'd do that too if I had a long haul from Anchorage to Narita.. <_<"

What I WANT to do is to con DeNooyer (I test drove one from the demon spawn at Dave White.. and was O_O when they let me.) into letting me drive the stock 2SS/RS M6s there before the snow flies.

Or at least the 1SS/RS that has been sitting for too long (going on 1.5 months at MSRP.. wat?).

EDIT: I have to drive Christine.. 'rents stole the Edge for a trip to Columbus. Yes, they were part of the BS OSU traffic, Fen.

Cyn said she'd let me drive her SS come C5fest.

After driving the LT I'm sure the SS will be OMGWTFBBQ - but I'll still be happy with the V6. Especially after I get the exhaust/intake and whatnot that I want.

I HAVE driven the SS.. it's not quite OMGWTFBBQ as it is..

It's a bad thermostat or fuse probably... Not getting hot, is it. ez fix.

nope... cleaned the vent , lint trap and replaced the pipe.... how can you change the thermostat?
