Greetings,

I had my 2019 SS 1LE front fascia changed to 2020 model year, also bought the front bowtie piece, however it looks like there is another piece/mount to which the bowtie mounts/clips on to...I am just not able to find that part online....really appreciate if somebody can let me know the part number and/or where to find it....Thanks

Now you just need a 2020 Camaro bow tie


Edit: I honestly can’t tell if the first and second picture is one piece, I’d order that part I listed and if it comes with the bow tie you’re set, otherwise maybe ask a dealer for that part specifically for the 2020

That bow tie you currently have will fit every model except 2019+ SS style bumper/grill I believe, seems like we got a bow tie part refresh along the way too lol

With regards to my Bowtie, the first and second picture is the piece, I did order it from shopchevyparts and it does say its for 2020...hoping they would take it back.

My bad, I meant the first and second picture in the post I commented haha, if they want a restocking then try putting it for sale on here or Facebook, everyone loves the black emblems so someone will buy it.

The parts sites are good but for latest model years they get jumbled, most sites don’t have them updated properly and I haven’t seen a site have the correct 2020 pieces added yet like the emblem and sharkfin camera for example are no where to be found

They’re still working on it, other then that they’ll be the first who offer the sharkfin antenna specifically

I went through all this when I installed the illuminated bow tie on my 2020. The F Adapter is the right piece, but there is a backing plate behind the grille. I dont have the part number for that since I reused mine. I ordered my F Adapter from Dallas GM Parts. Really low shipping costs.
As for the bow tie, that doesnt come with the adapter, but it appears that it is the correct bow tie.

I just looked at the above mentioned thread. Looks like the number Bumbleboy92 gave you (84684148) is the back plate behind the grill that holds the bracket in place. You will need part # 84684147, which is the bracket where the bow tie clips on

Thanks....sry getting lill confused here....so i need the adaptor as well as the plate? And then the bowties? If so do you know the part number for bowtie?

The bow tie you have is good. You just need the other 2 pieces
