Hindsight is 20/20 when it comes to what people consider collector cars. I don't think anybody can really say what'll happen, especially if Hertz ends up doing under and they end up being some of the last cars in their livery. I could definitely see at least one person out there who aims to collect all the performance cars they'd released over the years.

Yeah, it's hard to say. I will say that I can't really think of any Hertz special performance cars right off the top of my head, other than the specially painted C6 Corvettes they did. Now if someone had all of them in one place, the value would be in the collection, not the individual cars.

But now that Hertz has gone into Chap 11, we'll have to see.
