Ya, I'd do the unloading.

Take the DG.

DG pays more but you unload all of it yourself
Talk to the drivers... It's probably alot easier to go from regional to DG, but hard to go from DG to regional.

Reminds me of a story. We have a similar account, building supplies tho. The store managers are pretty good about helping unload. This one store had a lady manager that would stand in the trailer with her clipboard checking off the load as it was unloaded. She told me... "Driver, you need to be more careful with my freight." I'm hot... and I'm sweating like a hog... and I was already in a baaad mood. I stopped, looked her in the eye and told her, "Lady, this is MY freight till it hits the back of the trailer, now either put the clipboard down and help, or GTFO of my #$%& TRAILER! Her eyes got big as silver dollars < literally like that She says, " You can't talk to me like that! What's your dispatchers number?" She goes and makes her phone calls, then shortly here she comes... Not a word... She hops in the trailer and starts helping unload. Oh to be a fly on the wall during that phone call

Moral of the story... Dollar General contract probably sux!
