He has had it since late last year or early this year. I forget when he got it. I remember him calling me last November asking if I wanted to buy his 2006 Z06 because he was getting the ZR-1 shortly. It is serial number 500. He requested that and they gave it to him. He visited the plant when it was built. He had Chevy install Black headlight buckets instead of the standard Silver ones. They pulled a set out of the parts bin and he has a one of a kind ZR-1. I guess it pays to be friends with the Corvette plant manager.
