Dragging this back on topic, my work told us today that we are to work from home for the next 2 weeks. Luckily I work remotely 3x a week anyways so not a huge change for me. Most of my co-workers with young children have already started working from home to avoid the folks who come into the office coughing.

One of our team members was coughing like crazy the other day and had the nerve to tell us it was an unknown illness, not covid, but it also couldn't be strep throat b/c "ADULTS CAN'T GET STREP!" <--- WTF!!!! GO HOME YOU SICKO!

These are the people who help spread the flu and other illnesses. I'm not scared to go out b/c of the virus but b/c these idiots could have Airborne transmitted AIDS and they'd still go in pubic coughing and touching everything.

tired of hearing about this ffs.
it's just a bad flu..many thousands die each year from the flu.. we are just carrying on as normal..gotta work and keep the cash flowing in

Yeah, but here in the US it's an election year. Therefore mass hysteria is required on both sides to prop themselves up and discredit their opponent.

Never allow a good crisis to go to waste, in order to create mass hysteria. You've got to hand it to the msm, they are the all-time champions. They have successfully shaved 9,000 points off of the stock market, closed down businesses and have people picking supermarket shelves clean, all over a virus that causes Influenza-like symptoms. There are too many people that watch too much television, believe everything that little plastic box is telling them and also refuse to do their own research.

No, the over reaction is way more than what we are used to. The flu itself is less lethal than many others we have had here in the USA.
I heard some more counties are likely to be locked down soon. If this panic keeps up it will hit the fan.
