cool avast home edition just broke my computer... i cant click out of it i cant see any icons i cant remove it i cant ctrl alt delete

Sorry you're having troubles! I use avast and have never had problems... have you tried restarting in safe mode and trying to access it from there?

I think it was you I read earlier was having trouble with pop-ups? I had LOTS of problems with viruses awhile back... if you have any questions or need ideas to get those darned things off your computer, give me a holler.
