From all the ones I have personally rebuilt I have not come across any left handed pinion nuts. They have had L/H ring gear bolts. These include my current 2013 SS, previous 2017 Chevy 1500 4 x 4, ford 9 inch from racing, and old Chrysler 8.75's both racing and street use. I have rebuilt maybe 6-7 differential, so I am no expert, just sharing my limited experience.

thanks benman. yes you are correct left hand bolts on the ring gear. I knew I read it someplace also. thanks for you guys help. here in Missouri everyone wants a piece of your ass. shop here wanted 850.00 to set up my ring and pinion with NO WARRANTY cause I was supplying all the parts. called my tuner he can do it 400. I feel a lot better now. the first place was in my book was a complete ripoff. and a lot of people out here recommended them screw dat!

Yea 3-5 hours labor. When it's $140/hr it gets expensive. I don't do rear ends its a PITA pulling it all apart resetting checking repeat... i'll build an engine from a bare block tho lol.
