Katech Xtreme-DI Fuel Systems
Katech is proud to announce the release of the XDI manufactured and tested DI-Injectors that are designed for the new GM LT series engines. The newest injectors offer a 30% or 65% increase in flow over stock LT4 injectors, these supply the required fuel flow for high horsepower applications without the need for auxiliary fuel systems.
These injectors are based on the original GM LT4 injector, which makes them a perfect drop in solution. Most of the ECU Injector characteristics stay the same. Every Injector gets tested and flow-matched within ±0.5% at 100bar and 200bar fuel pressure on OEM grade testing equipment at XDI. Testing on several fully instrumented engines (8x O2, 8x EGT) done in-house at our facility in Clinton Twp. Michigan has shown unequaled results in terms of cylinder distribution, repeatability, and stability at pressures up to 3000psi. Tuning changes required are minimal, offsets and current driver parameters stay the same. XDI systems require no meth, no PFI, no extra ECUs, and no additional wiring. Can someone please explain to me why these DI injectors are so damn expensive? How different are they from my cummins injectors that they are triple the price?
What type of flow gains are possible with the stock pump? No hate on your product, just makes no damn sense.

OP your first link is the same as the belt drive. The +30% injectors are $2400 which are cheaper than FICs that advertise same flow rate. Hopefully in due time prices will come down.

2400 is still expensive but 1000 cheaper than the +30 FICs . What's missing here to be that much cheaper than the competition

I think I'm good with my LT4 stuff but for those who are willing to spend the extra bucks Katech builds some stellar products for sure.

Fuel pump flow gains are dependent on the fuel pump lobe used as well as the low pressure supply. It depends on the combination that you are running. Quote:

The LT4 components are sufficient for the majority of people. When that is maxed out, we believe we are the best solution on the market. |

Man fueling systems for these cars are ridiculous for anyone wanting to make anything over 8-900 hp. Almost $9000 for a pump and 8 injectors.
I went with secondary port injection and it was $5000 and I thought that was ridiculous, I guess I got off easy. |

And You have probably purchased enough MS109 to buy a set of these injectors. You can run 10.00 per gal fuel combined with meth and get by on the LT4 stuff. Or if you want to run 2.00 per gal E85 then you going to pay up front for more fuel supply. One way or another you are going to pay to go fast on this platform.

So stock in tank pump, stock cam and DI pump. What will these flow? Then if I add a low side pump to help feed, what will they flow?

People shouldnt complain about the retail cost of these products as they are really only for less than 1% of the community thats pushing 950+++whp on straight e85 or HUGE power on gasoline.
With the correct engine parts and setup 850-900 is achievable on 92-93 and meth with LT4 fueling parts. Beyond that you will need to invest heavily to make the car hook, trans hold, engine hold, etc.

Low side solution(s)- JMS booster, Aux fuel pump, For innovations intank pump. High side- Cam with bigger lobe, LPE DI pump with matching cam, or Katech belt driven DI pump. All in one solution...Weapon X SPI port injection with low side pump. It all comes down to power goals. I seen a ZL1 make close to 800whp on E85 with FIC +30, Cam wit 32% lobe, LPE DI pump, and aux low side. Meth and pump gas would get by with less fuel mods. Meth and Race fuel could make those numbers on the stock LT4 fuel system. So a lot of it has to do with the type of fuel you plan on running as well.

Honestly I rather run a little low side injection as well to keep the valve clean .
