Don't buy it if it is an 8 speed.

I was in a similar situation when I bought my “new” Nissan Armada.
The MSRP was $62,000, but it had 1800 miles on it because the dealer owner drove it. I ended up buying as a “new” vehicle at $44,000 (almost 30% off) with maintenance and extended warranties added. I’d say they should be close to that 30% area or it is a bad deal.

I would just look at used values for 2018 cars. Not the advertised price, but the "Great Deal" price on something like CarGurus. Camaros can be had for huge discounts actually brand new; there is no need to pay new money for a used car. I got a 2018 1LE with barely more miles and paid 36K (which some still might consider high - but it was very low for the pricing over a few months in my area). |

I would run away as fast as I could from that car.
1. It's several model years old, as there are 2020 models on the lots 2. With being a demo and having 1700 miles on it I bet that car was abused on its drives 3. You can finde new 19s or 20s for less than that price. Run away as fast as you can |

Not to mention the redline package is a ripoff. I paid $33,100 for my '19 1SS w/5 mi on it. |

I would try and get the dealership south of $38k. I bought my leftover 2018 2SS Redline convertible in Arip of this year for $39K with 34 miles on it. PLUS received free ceramic coating.

Have them price it as a used 2018 with 1700 miles. It is worth what an equivalent used car is worth at this point. Look up retail (not trade or wholesale) on a used 2018 in excellent condition with 1700 miles and that's your number.
