Dale Sr. (no one else even comes close)
Dale Jr. (not the same as when Big E was driving, but I root for him because he is obviously the one Dale Sr. would be pulling for)

If Little E can't win, I pull for the underdogs even though they never win these days. Robby Gordon brings some excitement. I'd like to see Boris Said get some good seat time. I like the old school guys who say what they think and would do anything to win. 2nd place is the first loser!!

My favorites are Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon. Dick Trickle! That made me lol. I'm 19 and remember he was my favorite as a kid, I don't know why, probably the car paint scheme??? I've gone to races all my life, and Tony Stewart is a cool guy. He used to race anything he could get into out at PIR, and in the early 90's, after the race we were all in the pit just hanging out and he let me in his car and signed a bunch of stuff for me. Same with Jeff Gordon. Nowadays its hard to even see them.

I personally hate nascar, I would much rather watch golf. If I watch any racing its trans am or formula. I realize that nascar is a sport with extensive strategy involved, BUT I would rather watch something that is much more technical and has higher levels of pure driver skill.

Nascar is a test of endurance and also to see who doesn't make mistakes. I admire the skill it takes to keep your concentration, but I'm with bporange. I'd much rather watch a sport with more constant action.

Attention fellow Dale Sr. fans!

Sunday, April 29th - Dale Sr.'s birthday!

Make sure and display/wear your Big E proudly.

Kinda off-topic in the off-topic thread, but today driving back from Charlotte visiting the GF, I passed Junior's hauler on it's way north (no idea why) from the big Charlotte race. Got several pics with my phone, just because it's neat and my mother, grandmother, and aunt are huge Junior fans (though I think it's less about his driving and more about the female interst in him).

Oh, and I don't watch NASCAR, but my entire office does, and I've thought about trying to get into it.

I have watched Nascar all my life, and people can diss it and talk about it all they want, but if you ask me it would be damn hard to get in a car and drive for 4 hours in the heat, making adjustments to the car everytime you stop trying to make it just perfect to be the fastest car out there on the track. I have a lot of respect for them, even the drivers I can't stand. They have some skills. I would absolutely LOVE to do the Richard Petty Driving Experience one day but don't have the cash to shell out right now Nascar drivers are some pretty tough athletes...

I give props to any race car driver, but turning left 1200 times just doesn't do it for me. I would like to go see a race live. Any sport live is way better on TV, but I think i might get dizzy, especially if I manage to get into the infield. I know they have road course races, but they never give it enough attention. I'm more into sports car racing or drag racing myself.
