TC SHUDDER AFTER NEW MOBIL FLUID
Hi everyone.
Has anyone had entire success after changing transmission fluid using the new mobil oil? I wonder about a permanent fix and no more shudder issues. Tks |

Had mine done around 7000 miles ago, and while it did cure the shudder, I still feel this trans and/or torque converter isn't completely right

I feel for you guys with the A8 every time I see a post. I had an A8 in my previous 2017, got rid of it. It shuddered and slipped like crazy almost since day one. I now have a 2016 with M6. What a difference- I really liked my 2017 but love my 2016 with the M6.

2016 A8 NPP YELLOW
I hope this is the last time. I had mine done at 34000 with the new mobile one back in June 28th. My car seems to be cured shifts great. No low speed shutter or 50 to 80 shutter. Its like having a new transmission so far. I now have 36000. We will see as the year goes on I do 240 miles a week DD to work.

I had mine done about 2500 miles ago and I haven't had any issues. It is holding up well.

GM has had several years and multiple occasions to truly fix this issue. This is what...the 3rd "new fluid fix"? Common deductive reasoning says this is not the true fix IMO. I really hope I'm wrong...I truly do, but I just don't feel it in my heart

No issues in several thousand miles since the new flush this year.

Almost 2500 miles, no issues so far! Not 100% confident, but hoping it holds up, would like to keep my SS for a while, even if I decide to get a C8/C8 Z06 next year.

It is a shame the C8 comes only with the automatic option... |

Though, it'll be interesting to see how it holds up when folks start putting 700+ hp to the tire, and how they'll accommodate their first DCT for the C8 Z06. |

I have Zero confidence in GM's new DCT. They have a very bad record of auto transmissions.
