Tony Mamo Ported TB installed
As advertised. Had a ported TB in my Firehawk (0140). Smoother, no hesitation or however you'd describe "that". Tony says seat time will allow the ECU to adapt.
Tony is an expert, trust his judgement. Now, be dialing up that ROTOFAB dry. Someone make me an offer.

I am seriously considering a Tony Mamo TB for my SS. I want to get rid of the deadspot.
It almost gave me a heart attack - was making a left out of my GF sub and the car was like hardly moving....

Tony was in charge of cylinder head design at AFR, so he knows flow. Dyno shows +15 hp/tq on a ZL1. The biggest draw from what I've read is that the dead spot is greatly reduced on take-off.

Installed mine a couple of weeks ago, big difference, worth the price. The dead spot/hesitation isn't completely gone but it's lessened so much that you really need to try to bring it about vs it always being there.

On a M6 SS put it in first gear around 1200 rpm and drive around a parking lot. Blip the throttle- you get nuthin. Thats the deadspot.
Much more noticeable on the M6. Its there- I am NOT imagining it.

It's very noticeable in Track mode when you're leaving from a stop.
