Well still a bit of GM negativity............even on a Camaro fan site.

I've driven the Insignia with the 1.6 L Turbo. Flat out incredible. If we get 90% of that car in a Buick................watch out.

It looks nothing like a Cruze and in person it is a stunning automobile. But it won't suit everyone and there will be a hurdle to overcome about Buicks which I am sensing is in the comments above.

See it, drive it..............you'll be sold.

i do know motor trend drove a couple in China a couple months back, and they liked them. That's always shocking for a Buick, or a GM car for that matter.

Because then it's just another lame unimaginative car with the same rear end shared by bubble sedans over the last 20 years.

It would be nice if they could attain some styling that looks a little different than everything else back there.

Man I am 27 years old and I think that these new Buicks look AWESOME!!

I think that that is a good sign that younger people find them appealing. Still like the LaCrosse better though

I'm on the fence about this car still. I think the biggest reason is because I was hoping they would rebadge the G8 as a Regal.

Ah well, win some lose some.

Eh, it's a little generic looking for my taste, but it's good to see Buick grow.

I bet Fen is all JIMP over this announcement.

But in all honesty, I'm glad their throwing more life into the buick lineup. Its one of GMs biggest overseas sellers - why not treat it a little.

So what would you like to see then?

|_| this shape? or /_/ this one? or \_\ this one? or /_\ this one? or how about this? (_)

all of which offer less cargo space than the \_/ design? Or maybe I''m wrong. or I just dont see your point. Please explain.

There are absolutely no similarities between the two cars whatsoever. Cruze is on Delta-II, Regal is on Epsilon-II, Cruze is significantly shorter than Regal, Regal is significantly more upscale than the top-level Cruze.

May be on different platforms but they look too similar to me. That's just what I see. Excuse me for not loving the Regal.

I agree with All or nothing. They have the same basic layout. I thought the biggest similarities was the sides of the cars, the look almost exactly the same as those pics. Except the regal's fenders appear to come out farther.
