The government could decide tomorrow that T Boone Pickens is right and mandate that all new cars be CNG powered. I'm such a geek, I would probably take a DOHC 2.7 CNG powered Challenger if I could shift gears for myself....maybe running on natural gas will help the 2.7's sludge problem. |

![]() But seriously anything against the Daimler Benz overlords is good enough for me. You know the Ron White joke about his brother-in-law with the Mercedes Benz? Quote:
Yeah, but you didn't get the SLK55 AMG so you still suck.

your right 3.6 it is, been a while since I read the the article, hope the economy is great, should be, everything seems to be going great, Only problem I see is that Mercedes-Benzs with be utilizing the engines design as well, Look like they like are american engineering now, .........or is it the other way around

200 lbs you have to compare auto to auto. When the manual challenger comes out then compare those weight differences. Anyhow 200 still makes a difference. |

50K is a rip. I knew it would happen when they announced 08s would be limited. Hopefully it doesn't happen with the camaro. And no your opinion doesn't make you a fanboy. Any of the 3 mustang challenger or camaro is a ripoff at 50k.

That's what I say about the Shelby Mustang GT500. It's freaking cool, but I just don't think it's $42,170 + whatever the dealer tacks on cool ( because he is only getting one of these so he's going to make his money on it dammit) |

294 to be exactly, I wonder if the Challys extra 3 horses it got over the maro wil make a difference, Ha just joking they have the better weight ratio and thats it, and the ratio difference is not all that bad, but when it comes down to it at the track, I think shifting is all that matters if the maro and chally were to go head to head proformence wise, one wrong shift and your seeing taillights

![]() I like all the pony cars, but I love the Camaro. I actually like the Charger better than the Challenger, I think the Challenger's front and rear ends are lame. Also, what's with this shifter leaning so far forward? Edit: Aw crap, hotlinking not allowed... http://www.allpar.com/photos/shows/NY08/stick.jpg It looks like you'll whack your knuckles on those buttons if you can even shift all the way without having to push the shifter entirely from behind...and it looks broken being almost parallel to the ground.
