A car like that can very quickly get away from you if you are not careful and/or skilled. On public streets, it’s best to stick to careful.

Yesterday I was watching the Everyday Driver review on the new ZR1 and they stated over and over that this car will kill you and should only be sold to folks with a valid racing license.

That is a bit overboard, IMHO. Simply use some common sense when purchasing a 755hp car that you've never driven before and you'll be fine. Don't pull it off of the lot and start hammering the sh*t of it. You'll end up with a totaled supercar and a large hospital bill (if not being measured for a coffin) very quickly.
