Does the Maggie have an Air/Water coolant reservoir? The Whipple may be the heaviest with the metal lid, AWIC, leaving the aux radiator, and almost 3 gallons of coolant for the AWIC system with the bumper mounted tank.

My Whipple 1LE is heavy, but I haven't weighed it with the blower. It was 3,663 stock - so heavier than Laynlo's car, but it's a SS 1LE so the eLSD, wheels, brakes, etc all add up.
Only gets removed if running prochargers race intercooler I believe. I think the tuning is routed different and slightly larger and therefore that radiator gets in the way. Haven’t noticed any change in cooling, etc.

The kit comes with an offset mounting bracket, probably a good idea to maintain all the cooling capability.

Mine did not. It came with a removal kit for it. Also this is the race IC, not stage 2.

Oh, that is the thickest and largest IC, my bad.

for my street driven application, I felt that it would be a good idea to get as much cool air to the intake filter IMO of course. Plus if I up boost I have to put a second BOV in the hardpipe in the same area. Because my state II had the normal BOV and the race one is an expensive welding needed ad-on. I've already upgraded the head unit to a D1X, tempted on the race intercooler very tempted.

It would be my opinion that any road race / auto X setup have a forged engine and better cooling (oil cooler, side and center radiator) vs stock SS setup. I don't intend to do either.

the Prochargher D1x, with oil, with the complete mounting system and all pulleys on the mount = 32 lbs. I'd estimate the crank pulley, three long bolts and spacers, intercooler stage 2, air filer, and two pipes / hoses BOV to be 35 lbs, - the stock intake, all the shrouds, 15 lbs = 53 Lbs, lets call it +60 lbs in total just for error sake.

Many things have changed since then but weight is not always a detriment to performance

It seems the consensus is about 60lbs for both centri and PD... Thank you all for playing...

Speaking of weight.. the front clip is light till you put the Bezels back in, the fog lights, grills and plastic part w foam to cover the cross member.. should make an alternative. maybe carbon mesh support lol

There was someone on Camaro5 that made and sold a bunch of tubular front bumper supports that shaved a few pounds off the front. I will see if I can find the thread.

I gained 70lbs, TOTAL:
I went from 3800(3/4tank, large custom dual subwoofer box, amp, and “emergency kit(read 5.56&#128521.
To 3870lbs after Magnuson, LT headers, Cat delete, BUT, adding a 2.5 gal Meth tank.

I'm curious about this also.
From all the research I have done, it seems the Procharger kit is about the lightest.
When you add in the 2 heat exchangers, water pump and the water itself, along with a much heavier blower unit, the PD kits are quite heavy.

I'm eventually gonna go with a simple air to air setup because I plan on tracking the car and no way the air to water setup can keep up.
Way too much heat soak.

This seems consistent with what was stated earlier. Without the meth tank you would be about 10-20 lighter...
