Challenger

You guys should read my review on the Challenger site. I have an SRT8 and a Camaro.
I got a lot of guys saying the review was good and liked the fact that I did not slam the Camaro. Most die hard Muscle car guys like both and respect others opinions. Since I have both I have a lot of credibility. What I dont like is seeing Camaro guys disrespect Challengers and Challenger guys saying bad things about the Camaro.
That being said, we like our Challenger better. But I did pay a lot more for it..
Sometimes I like the Camaro better..
Both have better things than the other, just depends on what you want. Its easy to get a Camaro guys feathers riled up and a Challenger guys feathers riled up if you say anything negative about the cars. Thats natural, we invest a lot of money and defend our purchase dont we. I dont think anyone should go on a forum and trash the forums cars.. If you do you deserve to get booted.. and if someone who does not own one of the cars tries to give an opinion its usless.. IMO..
Take care guys and enjoy.. the Camaro is an awesome car..

Sweet garage man. Sitting side by side your challenger does look more "muscle carish" than the camaro.

Can you copy/paste your review for us who aren't members on both sites?

Or Link it?

I had a Charger SRT8 before I bought the Camaro SS. Both the Charger and the Challenger have an LX chassie so can say, performance wise, they are identical cars. I hurt to have to sell my Charger SRT8 in order to buy my Camaro SS, but now I'm glad I did, the truth is that both are awesome cars and you can't go wrong with either of them. I could have bought a Challenger SRT8 if I wanted too, but IMO, the Camaro has a more aggressive look to it, a nicer interior and it's LS3 engine has more potential than the Challengers Hemi 6.1L.

Its really just all personal choice...RE: review.

Guys, I wish I could paste my review on Camaro VS Challenger.
I think it boiled down for me my age. I am 50 and really like the luxury of my Challenger. I love the Camaro too and made that clear in my review. I just am more into the retro look of the Chally and its fast enough for me. The Chally is easier to get into and out of. I love the Camaro and how it lights up at night. I like the way the hood looks when sitting in the car and looking over it while driving.
I like the ride of the Challenger better, the big hips in back and the rear end of the Challenger. I like the way the Camaro looks in the side rear view mirrors.. the rear fenders just look so cool.
I like the shift handle on the Challenger better. I like the seats better and head rests of the Challenger.
But on the Camaro I like my two tone inferno seats and the stitching.. looks awesome.
The doors on the Camaro kind of pop open almost like the window has to release them.. The challenger opens better.
Even though the Camaro is not that much faster than my SRT8 it really feels as though it is much faster in acceleration.
I really like the Challenger 6 speed manual shifting a little better..but am getting used to the Camaro.
I will admit also that I get more rubberneckers in the Camaro but both do attract attention.
I just do not think many people even know the Challenger exists.. and by the time they notice it they think, what the heck was that.
The guys on the Challenger site are for the most part older than the Camaro owners, especially us old guys that own the SRT8 cars.
Camaro owners should be proud of what they own and Challenger owners should be proud of what they own.
Both are fast cars and if not careful dangerous so be careful out there boys and girls but most of all have fun and enjoy the fact that you can own either car.

I realized that bringing that up with the challenger guys might seem wrong but I didn't rub it in, I just said I'm thinking of buying a Camaro and they banned me. Over the time that I had spent on that site I realized that they are actually a bunch of ass **les. Most of them think they have the best cars on the road and all the other muscle cars look like shit. Wait till I get my camaro and see a challenger on the road, its game on If you think I'm making this up, go over to that website check it out, every post concerning the camaro is a complete slam on the car. No Respect!!!!

I'm looking forward to enjoying my Camaro and spending my time on a quality website, like this one. Also it's going to look better parking my camaro in the garage next to my 07' Tahoe LTZ

This is exactly what I said:

I've decided after doing some research and canceling my order for an R/T challenger that it makes sense to go with the Camaro. I saw the camaro in person and I think it looks awsome. It also offers a lot more for the money which is a huge factor with the ever shrinking dollar. I'm very excited about it. We'll see you at the track my friends No hard feelings!!
Thought i'd share this little story: )

So far since I had my Camaro, I have had one challenger try to flex his muscle on the freeway when he pulled up next to me.

1st off I am a fan of all muscle cars and respect them all. They all have horse power under the hood and I do like the Challenger as well, it's a great looking muscle car, but the one that came behind me started weaving in and out on my ass end reving up his engine as if I was slowing him down. as I entered the ramp onto the freeway, The challenger then paces me , finally I couldn't take it anymore so I floored it, then the douche bag trys to catch up to me only to be dirfting farther away not paying attention he almost slams into a little mini cooper that pulled onto the next freeway ramp. I'm pretty sure he almost shit his pants. I'm just glad no accident happend, maybe he'll think twice trying to rev up his engine to another SS2.

What's an SS2? lol...do you think if you would not have floored it he would not have almost hit that mini cooper? Street racing is bad my friend..dont be tempted into it.

: ) Sorry I have a bad habit saying SS2 I've just gotten used to it: )
but yes I do agree don't let other muscle cars try to tempt you to race. It could have gotten ugly. He was being a douch bag, every lane I pulled into to let him pass he kept hugging my ass and then he would pace me. Thats when I decided to make a bad call and floor it.

Street racing maybe bad but sometimes some douchebag needs to be put in their place.

Stickers do not add hp to V8-powered cars. They only add hp to ricer cars.

Out of all the differences between Camaros and Challengers, there's one thing that absolutely made my decision for me: the Challenger looks like the General Lee.
